this is a cover design for Granta audiobook called American Short Stories, read by William Dufris.the story from the cover is called City of Broken Dreams and is set up in late 1940's new york. it is about a young playwriter who moves to new york with his family to have his play produced. circumstances get more complicated when family arrives in the city.
